Beyond the cocktail, my passion for mixology is driven by a desire to connect with people through flavors and stories. Each creation is a tribute to my roots, reflecting the blend of cultures and memories that shape my journey to Hawaii.

Cocktail Inspiration

In crafting my cocktail, “A Sip Down Memory Lane”, I delved deep into the sensory tapestry woven from my cherished childhood recollections. Inspired by the perfect pairing of chocolate and orange, my cocktail is a nostalgic trip to Christmas Mornings many years ago. To create the scene, a young me, eagerly rummaging through my stocking specifically to find the controversial treat - the Terry’s Chocolate Orange. While my brother and cousins wrinkled their faces with disgust, I danced in the flavors of nutty milk chocolate and vibrant orange. These flavors, emblematic of the joy of the holidays, have permanently etched themselves into my fondest memories, a precious tether to home in Pennsylvania, especially now, living thousands of miles away in Hawaii. “A Sip Down Memory Lane” is more than just a cocktail to me, it’s a heartfelt embrace mirroring warmth of family and tradition. Licor 43, the core of my cocktail, teems with bright citrus, sweet vanilla, and an intricate medley of spices and botanicals. Partnered alongside Licor 43 is Lavazza 100% Arabica Espresso, an artisanal brew with fruity and floral notes which harmonizes with Licor 43 in every sip. For the perfect pour, I chose to brew a traditional espresso, which gives a bold, full bodied essence with a luscious layer of crema. The fresh brewed espresso serves as the perfect accompaniment to Licor 43’s delicate sweet citrusy palate. Being sourced from Central South America, Lavazza’s 100% Arabica Roast adds additional layers of nutty, chocolate, and caramel which elevate the nuances of Licor 43. “A Sip Down Memory Lane” isn’t just an homage to home, it’s a celebration of cherished memories which are encapsulated in every sip.
