I’ve been working at Employees Only LA for almost 5 years, and it was also where I began my bartending journey. This is the first milk punch I’ve ever made.
Cocktail Inspiration
The inspiration behind this cocktail is the classic drink Abuelitas hot chocolate
Ingredients
- 15 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 45 Ml. Titos vodka
- 15 Ml. Mr. Black Liquor
- 12 Ml. Cold brew coffee
- 7 Ml. Demarara syrup
- 12 Ml. Orange juice
- 1 Oz. Abuelitas chocolate milk
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Combine all cocktail ingredients into a mixing glass without the abuelita chocolate milk.
- Slowly pour abuelita chocolate milk into cocktail and stir while pouring in without ice.
- Let combination sit for 30 minutes.
- Place coffee filter over a fine strainer and pour mixture into filter to strain into a separate container.
- Once strained, pour clarified cocktail over a big ice cube and stir with a mixing spoon for about 10 seconds to chill and dilute cocktail.
- Place flour garnish on top of ice and enjoy.
Coffee Preparation
- Blend cold brew coffee beans in a food processor.
- Place beans in coffee filter and water, and allow to cold brew for 2 days.
- Remove filter with coffee beans from cold brew.
