Hi, my name is Enzo Velásquez. I’m a Bartender at least for 10 years. Now I’m very excited to participate in this challenge, with Aloysia i want to express my passion combining this different ingredients and Licor 43 creating an exceptional cocktail!
Cocktail Inspiration
This cocktail is inspired by the search for harmony in flavors that contrast and might be considered an unusual combination.
Ingredients
- 20 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 45 Ml. Flor de Caña 18
- 5 Ml. Lemon Grass
- 05 Ml. Ginger
- 10 Ml. Citric Solution
- 30 Ml. Pour Over stile Coffee
- 60 Ml. Licor 43 and Coffee Foam
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Cut the inside part of lemon grass stem and muddle with ginger and citric solution.
- Add Licor 43, Flor de Caña 18 and coffee, stir and strain in the cocktail shaker. Add some ice and shake about 8 seconds.
- Doble strain the cocktail in a mug with an ice block in it.
- Make the foam in a glass adding 30ml of coffee, 10ml of Licor 43, 5gr of brown sugar and mix very well with a milk frother until you get a nice and consistently foam.
- Add te Coffee and Licor 43 foam to the top of the cocktail, garnish with grated almond over the foam and lemon grass stem as remover.
Coffee Preparation
- In the paper coffee filter put some hot water and discard, them measure 20gr of ground coffee and add 180ml of hot water over the coffee in 3 times to get a great cup of coffee.
