Arabella – Ruby Coffee Liqueur

I’m an engineer woman, passionate by drinks world. The drink was created by a group of friends as a final project in coffee class and we had an amazing result that deserves to be known by the world.

Cocktail Inspiration

A refreshing drink with colombian coffee and a deep of differents flavors

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 10 Ml. Almond Milk
  • 45 Ml. Raspberry extract
  • 5 Ml. Mint leaves
  • 60 Ml. Espresso
  • 50 Ml. Ice

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • In a shaker, add the raspberry extract previously macerated with mint leaves
  • Add 30 ml of Licor 43
  • Add 10 ml of almond milk
  • Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into an old fashioned glass full of ice
  • Finally, add a freshly brewed and cooled double espresso and mix with the previous drink and enjoy it.
Coffee Preparation
  • Set up your espresso machine
  • Measure 18 gr of coffee beans (preferably with sweet chocolate profile, cherry or aromatic herbs)
  • Grind the coffee beans (extra fine grinding) and fill the portafilter basket
  • Attach the filled portafilter and turn on the machine and brew
  • Serve immediately and let it cool
