I’m Jerome, bartender at Gin & Jagger.
The Ardiendo 43 tributes the herbal notes of Licor 43 and and the smokiness of coffeeroasting. The rich texture and intense flavours change during the ice melts.

Ingredients

  • 40 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 20 Ml. Oban 14
  • 1 Dashes Bitters Truth Orange Bitters
  • 10 Ml. Gonzalez Byass Nectar Pedro Ximenez
  • 30 Ml. Espresso
  • 1 Ml. Burned Rosmarin Spring

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add Licor 43, Whiskey, Sherry, Espresso and Orangebitter to a Shaker. Add ice.
  • Flame an rosemary spring and add it in the shaker
  • Shake for 20 seconds and double strain in a chilled Tumbler with a large ice cube
  • Garnish with an Orangepeel and a flamed rosemary spring.
Coffee Preparation
  • Coffee used: Coffee Pirates fünfzig fünfzig
  • Espresso
  • Gr. Of dry coffee used: 20 g.
  • Gr of liquid produced: 25
  • Water temerature: 92 C
  • Extraction time: 25 sec.
