I’m Jerome, bartender at Gin & Jagger.
The Ardiendo 43 tributes the herbal notes of Licor 43 and and the smokiness of coffeeroasting. The rich texture and intense flavours change during the ice melts.
Ingredients
- 40 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 20 Ml. Oban 14
- 1 Dashes Bitters Truth Orange Bitters
- 10 Ml. Gonzalez Byass Nectar Pedro Ximenez
- 30 Ml. Espresso
- 1 Ml. Burned Rosmarin Spring
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Add Licor 43, Whiskey, Sherry, Espresso and Orangebitter to a Shaker. Add ice.
- Flame an rosemary spring and add it in the shaker
- Shake for 20 seconds and double strain in a chilled Tumbler with a large ice cube
- Garnish with an Orangepeel and a flamed rosemary spring.
Coffee Preparation
- Coffee used: Coffee Pirates fünfzig fünfzig
- Espresso
- Gr. Of dry coffee used: 20 g.
- Gr of liquid produced: 25
- Water temerature: 92 C
- Extraction time: 25 sec.
