I’m Ecuadorian mixologist living in Chicago , my wife is from Chicago so I had a chance to know more about the American bartender culture , one great fact to live in a big city is that we have everything from everywhere like Colombian coffee .

Cocktail Inspiration

Me and my mom used to watch sopa opera from Colombia call “ Cafe con aroma de mujer “ it was recorded in a Colombia coffee farm . And them I have a chance to watch the movie perfume . So I picked up some flavor and ingredient's for each tv show to pair and create something unique that represents my respect for women’s , perfumes , Colombian coffee and licor 43.

Ingredients

  • 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Santa Rita coffee
  • 60 Ml. Fresh orange juice
  • 15 Ml. Vie vite cotes de Provence rose
  • 25 Ml. Amontillado sherry
  • 30 Ml. Orbium gin Hendrix
  • 5 Dashes Lavander bitter bar keep

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Combine 20 ml of licor 43, Orange juice, rose wine , sherry , gin and lavender bitters into shaker with ice and thrown for 5 times them strain into a carafe glass 12oz with pebbles ice.
  • Into a shaker add the coffee and 25 ml of licor 43 and dry shake them pour over the drink
Coffee Preparation
  • Heat water to reach 195 degrees F. Ground Santa Rita Castillo caturra 20 grams coffee on 3.2 setting grinder coffee. Add the dropper into the carafe and wet the paper. Add the ground coffee then start the extraction pouring hot water and wait for 30 seconds . Add more water to extract more coffee. Santa Rita Colombian coffee has panela , frangípane and orange zest
