Cocktail Inspiration
Finding a balance of noncompetitive flavors resulting in a drink that is enjoyable for anyone
Ingredients
- 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 60 Ml. Old Elk Wheated Bourbon
- 30 Ml. Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders Cold Brew
- 7 Ml. Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
- 3 Dashes El Guapo Chicory and Pecan Bitters
- 1 Dashes Angostura Cocoa Bitters
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Prepare your cold brew.
- Rim half of a coupe glass, using a 1:2 ratio of espresso powder and sugar.
- In a boston shaker add all ingredients as well as roughly 1 cup of ice.
- Shake for 20 seconds.
- Strain into glass using a hawthorne strainer.
- Optional- top with a coffee aroma filled bubble.
Coffee Preparation
- I used a 1:3 ratio of grounds:water and allowed it to sit at room temperature for 18 hours.
