Espresso & scotch just makes sense to me in terms of flavor, texture, & sensation. The sweet, smooth, & citrus aspects of licor 43 perfectly blends w/ both. It’s a match made in Spanish Scot heaven! (It helps to shake it in a kilt w/ flamenco music)

Cocktail Inspiration

An Espresso Martini but with depth


  • 22 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Espresso
  • 30 Ml. Blended Scotch (Monkey Shoulder)
  • 15 Ml. Coffee Liqueur (Mr. Black)
  • 7 Ml. Dark Maple Syrup


Cocktail Preparation
  • Combine Licor 43, Scotch, Espresso, Coffee Liqueur, and Maple Syrup in shaker tin
  • Shake Vigorously (with style and or pizzazz preferably)
  • Double strain into a chilled Coupe or Nick and Nora glass.
  • Express and Caress a lemon peel.
  • Garnish with lemon peel.
