I took inspiration from living in the U.S.V.I with the coconut and fruity flavors as well as my experience using Licor 43

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 40 Ml. Espresso
  • 18 Ml. Solerno
  • 20 Ml. Coconut Milk
  • 10 Ml. Aquafaba

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add all ingredients into shaker
  • Dry shake, add ice then wet shake
  • Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
  • Garnish with a twisted blood orange peel or orange peel if none on hand
Coffee Preparation
  • Grind dark roast coffee beans into fine powder
  • Add 20 grams into portafilter of espresso machine
  • Tamp grounds
  • Reattach portafilter to espresso machine
  • Pull espresso and let stand for a minute or two to let cool before using in cocktail as to not over dilute cocktail by melting ice
