Cocktail Inspiration

Trying to add a more depth while keeping it simple

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Brown Butter Bourbon (I used homemade but Taffers works well too)
  • 45 Ml. Fresh Espresso
  • 2 Dashes Mexican chocolate bitters
  • 1 Drops Pinch Sea Salt

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add 45ml of espresso to shaker tin
  • Add a pinch of salt or 2 saline drops (80-20)
  • Add 30ml of Licor 43
  • Add 30ml brown butter bourbon
  • Add 2 dashes of Mexican chocolate bitters
  • Fill tin with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds
  • Strain into chilled coupe
  • Use microplane to grate bittersweet chocolate(60 percent cacao) and orange zest
Coffee Preparation
  • Brew espresso
