Caralatte

The Caralatte is a Carajillo rift that focuses strongly on the espresso component. I wanted to make the citrus notes of Licor 43 shine in espresso, so adding a bit of CuraƧao achieved that goal.
Cocktail Inspiration
The Carajillo cocktail itself but focused to barista skills
Ingredients
- 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 15 Ml. Benedictine B and B
- 15 Ml. Cointreau
- 10 Oz. Steamed Whole Milk
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Warm up a 12oz. Coffee Mug
- Combine all liquors in warm mug
- Pull shot of fresh espresso over liquor
- Steam whole milk via espresso steam wand
- Pour over espresso and liquors
- Garnish with Orange zest
Coffee Preparation
- Dial in espresso machine
- Pull 19.5g espresso grounds to 40g out
