Cocktail Inspiration
The rich forgotten flavor of Combier Doppelt Kimmel
Ingredients
- 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 45 Ml. Espresso
- 15 Ml. Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
- 15 Ml. Lustau Solera Los Arcos Dry Amontillado
- 15 Ml. Madre Mezcal Espadin
- 8 Ml. Combier Doppelt Kümmel Extra Liqueur
- 8 Ml. Rich Demerara Syrup
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Add ingredients to cocktail shaker
- Dry shake vigorously, 10 seconds
- Add Hoshizaki or Kold Draft ice
- Shake vigorously, 7 seconds
- Double strain, frozen coupe
- Garnish, dill sprig and star anise
Coffee Preparation
- Add 20 grams finely ground espresso to single basket.
- Level, then tamp grounds using 20-25 lbs pressure
- Draw 60 ml espresso and n 25 seconds
- Allow to cool to room temperature
