Cocktail Inspiration

The rich forgotten flavor of Combier Doppelt Kimmel


  • 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 45 Ml. Espresso
  • 15 Ml. Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
  • 15 Ml. Lustau Solera Los Arcos Dry Amontillado
  • 15 Ml. Madre Mezcal Espadin
  • 8 Ml. Combier Doppelt Kümmel Extra Liqueur
  • 8 Ml. Rich Demerara Syrup


Cocktail Preparation
  • Add ingredients to cocktail shaker
  • Dry shake vigorously, 10 seconds
  • Add Hoshizaki or Kold Draft ice
  • Shake vigorously, 7 seconds
  • Double strain, frozen coupe
  • Garnish, dill sprig and star anise
Coffee Preparation
  • Add 20 grams finely ground espresso to single basket.
  • Level, then tamp grounds using 20-25 lbs pressure
  • Draw 60 ml espresso and n 25 seconds
  • Allow to cool to room temperature
