Cocktail Inspiration

The fravorite treat of my grandmother corn cake

Ingredients

  • 40 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 50 Ml. corn pure
  • 25 Ml. Zaro Coffe
  • 5 Ml. lime juice
  • 15 Ml. rum havana 7

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Blend the coocked corn on a blender, then strained it to optain the corn pure.
  • In one of the mixing tins, combine 25ml of coffee, 40ml of Licor 43, 15ml of Havana rum, and 5ml of lime juice. Complete with ice.
  • Hold the mixing tin with the ingredients high above your head in one hand. Hold the empty mixing tin low, near your waist, in the other hand. With the help of a julep, Carefully pour the liquid from the high tin into the low tin in a controlled stream. This aerates the drink and mixes it thoroughly. Repeat the throwing process 4-5 times, switching hands if necessary to ensure even mixing and aeration
  • Pour in to a chilled on the rocks glass. with a square translucide ice.
  • Wrap a corn husk around the glass and put a piece of pamonha on top
Coffee Preparation
  • Steam the paper filter
  • Pour 250ml of hot water (92 celcius) over 25g of ZARO CAFÉ Especial Moderado Moído - 100 Arábica
