Dirty Dancing

By RUBY SMITH

United States of America

Skipping additional spirits in Dirty Dancing allows Licor 43 to shine in this golden-hued cocktail, its color an homage to the liqueur itself. I’m excited to present a cocktail that highlights my Spanish roots as well as other corners of the world.

Cocktail Inspiration

My inspiration for Dirty Dancing was creating a cocktail fitting for afternoon tea service in India or England as well as making a delicious nightcap. This is a cocktail not just for tea lovers, but anyone thirsty for a fresh take on the Espresso Martini.

Ingredients

  • 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Oregon Chai Concentrate
  • 30 Ml. Oat Milk
  • 15 Ml. Espresso
  • 2 Dashes Regans Orange Bitters

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with ice.
  • Shake until tins frost.
  • Double strain into a chilled coupe.
  • Garnish by resting Biscotti biscuit on rim of glass.
Coffee Preparation
  • Grind 20 grams of Firelight Essentials Small Batch Roasted Whole Bean Coffee.
  • Pack into portafilter.
  • Pull one shot of espresso, yielding 45 ml.
