Cocktail Inspiration

I was inspired by the simplistic yet complex memories of the nightcap coffee and sweets with my father in Mexico. After seventeen years I had the opportunity to reconnect with family so far away, these cherished moments were filled with warmth and comfort. Licor fourty-three's unique flavor brings me back to those special moments. Crafting Dulces Noches allowed me to share a glimpse into the flavors that I experienced during my stay. Each moment of this cocktail is a tribute to the love that family brings.

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. White Creme de Cocoa
  • 30 Ml. Cognac
  • 37 Ml. Guatemalan arabica cold brew

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Combine all ingredients into mixing glass
  • Ice down cocktail
  • Stir
  • Strain into coupe glass
  • Garnish luxardo and orange twist (aromatics)
Coffee Preparation
  • Place 80 grams coarsely Guatemalan ground arabica in infuser
  • Slowly pour over 50 grams of water
  • Allow to infuse at room temperature for 13 hours
  • Remove coffee grounds and enjoy
