I met carajillo on a trip to Mexico, I also tried it in CR, but its flavors were very sweet and citrusy.
That’s where the idea of ​​doing it only with crushed ice was born.

Cocktail Inspiration

Carajillo, without orange peels or additional sugar

Ingredients

  • 60 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 58 Ml. Espresso Shot

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Make a double espresso with the best coffee, from Costa Rica
  • Crush ice and add it to the mixer, add 60 ml of liqueur 43 and 60 ml of espresso
  • Shake hard and fast, use a cloth, the mixer can get very cold
  • Shake until the sound of the mixer changes
  • Serve in a double walled mug
Coffee Preparation
  • Grind 30 g of coffee
  • Remove lumps, levels and mash
  • Extract for 30 s, 60 ml of coffee
