Cocktail Inspiration

Do you speak French - What does Le Bon Temps mean - It is that time of the year again - Bartender and Barista Challenge is back and I am going with New Orleans style coffee but made it nitro - What is the difference between the Vietnamese coffee and New Orleans coffee - They both use Cafe Du Monde Chicory coffee that comes in an orange can most of the time - The main difference is the brewing method - For Vietnamese coffee you will need a Phin filter and let it drip for about 15-20 min or more and New Orleans coffee is usually made cold brew or it is served as Cafe au lait - Cafe Du Monde Chicory coffee is popular among Vietnamese Americans because the flavor profile is very similar to the Vietnamese iced coffee that they could find in Vietnam during the 1900s - Among the many immigrants who came to the United States the French also brought their unique coffee culture as they settled in the areas along the Gulf Coast and the Mississippi river where they shared their love of coffee with others - In 1791 the New Orleans French Market was erected and there the coffee shop Café Du Monde was born - Enjoy the rich and velvety texture of the nitro NOLA style coffee cocktail featuring Licor 43 and Laissez les bon temps rouler
