“This cocktail seeks the perfect balance between the sweet and citrus flavors of Liqueur 43 while enhancing them with a surprise from Mexico, a country in which the classic ‘carajillo’ is very popular
Ingredients
- 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 45 Ml. Espresso Coffe
- 30 Ml. Fresh orange juice
- 15 Ml. Liquor Ancho Reyes Verde
- 1 Drops Salt
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Make the coffee
- Put all ingredients in the cocktail shaker with ice
- Hard shake for about 20-30 second
- Double strain the cocktail into a glass with new ice(I use a balloon short glass but a classic old fashioned glass is fine too)
- Garnish with orange peel for make it easy or in the picture I use edible caramel top and a sugared fig as decoration and pairing at the same time
Coffee Preparation
- Coffe use: Villalobos Tarrazu
- Method use: Espresso
- Gr. Dry coffee: 10g
- Gr. Liquid produced: 45ml
- Water temperature: 90 Celsius
- Time: 25-30 second
- Coffe toast: medium clean agron 65
