“This cocktail seeks the perfect balance between the sweet and citrus flavors of Liqueur 43 while enhancing them with a surprise from Mexico, a country in which the classic ‘carajillo’ is very popular

Ingredients

  • 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 45 Ml. Espresso Coffe
  • 30 Ml. Fresh orange juice
  • 15 Ml. Liquor Ancho Reyes Verde
  • 1 Drops Salt

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Make the coffee
  • Put all ingredients in the cocktail shaker with ice
  • Hard shake for about 20-30 second
  • Double strain the cocktail into a glass with new ice(I use a balloon short glass but a classic old fashioned glass is fine too)
  • Garnish with orange peel for make it easy or in the picture I use edible caramel top and a sugared fig as decoration and pairing at the same time
Coffee Preparation
  • Coffe use: Villalobos Tarrazu
  • Method use: Espresso
  • Gr. Dry coffee: 10g
  • Gr. Liquid produced: 45ml
  • Water temperature: 90 Celsius
  • Time: 25-30 second
  • Coffe toast: medium clean agron 65
