For my first competition, I decided to risk and mix two ingredients that I really like, mezcal and licor 43… To help in the balance of the cocktail, I add a few mL of a Sicilian lemon syrup

Ingredients

  • 40 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Le Sirop Monin Lemon
  • 25 Ml. Mezcal Don Juan Escobar
  • 30 Ml. Espresso
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitter

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Serve all the ingredients inside the shaker, except the espresso
  • Beat and then serve in a low glass with a ice cube, straining with a sieve and a strainer
  • Serve the espresso over the ice, so that it keeps floating
  • As a garnish, a sugar caramel with angostura melted in the lemon on top of the ice

  • Espresso capsule extracted using the Nespresso Professional system
