Mojito 43

Whenever I go out I start my dinner with a mojito and some tapas and for the after dinner I like to have a carajillo, therefore I created this beautiful refreshing cocktail that suits any moment.

Cocktail Inspiration

Inspired by one of the greatest cuban classic cocktails the Mojito and the most iconic coffee drink of our era the Carajillo

Ingredients

  • 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 45 Ml. Espresso
  • 15 Ml. Rum Havana CLub
  • 15 Ml. Honey syrup
  • 3 Dashes Chocolate Bitters
  • 1 Ml. 6-8 Mint leaves

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add all ingredients into a shaker tin
  • Shake vigorously
  • Double strain into Collins glass
  • Garnish with mint bouquet and sprinkle spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, cacao) on top
Coffee Preparation
  • Preheat the espresso machine
  • Weight 20g of cuban style coffee (Bustelo)
  • Distribute and tamp the coffee grounds to ensure even extraction
  • Brew the espresso with a temperature around 95C and for 25 seconds
