Morir Soñando means to die while dreaming and this drink is named for its dreamy to die for taste. I’ve used that as a base for my coffee cocktail along with the perfect boozy addition, Licor 43.

Cocktail Inspiration

A boozy iced latte version of the Dominican drink Morir Soñando

Ingredients

• 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
• 5 Oz. Evaporated milk
• 1 Oz. Granulated Sugar
• 6 Oz. Fresh Orange Juice
• 1 Oz. Espresso

Method

Cocktail Preparation

• Create Morir Soñando mix by combining evaporated milk, sugar, and orange juice. Whisk or stip until slightly frothy and sugar is dissolved.
• Pour 3 oz of Morir Soñando over in a rocks glass.
• Add 1 oz of Licor 43 to glass and stir
• Layer 1 oz of espresso on top.

Coffee Preparation

• Pull a dialed in double shot of espresso.
