Cocktail Inspiration

There's a local Spanish restaurant that has a delicious almond tart and the owners from Trebadelo Spain. I wanted to make a drink that would pair with the dessert.

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43
  • 15 Ml. American 100 proof rye whiskey
  • 7.5 Ml. Orange curaƧao liquor
  • 7.5 Ml. Almond orgeat
  • 20 Ml. Fresh espresso (preferably Costa Rica) Single shot

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Extract/pull the espresso single shot
  • Combine all ingredients into a tin
  • Pack tin with a scoop of Kold Draft ice
  • Shake vigorously about 10 seconds
  • Double strain into a chilled nick and nora glass
  • Garnish with 2 strokes of shaved cinnamon
  • Torch a orange coin until fragrant
  • Express the coin across the drink
  • Serve and watch the guests joy
Coffee Preparation
  • Source your coffee from a local roaster and have them give you the flavor Notes
  • Dial in your grinder to extract the shot
  • Pull delicious espresso
  • Use half in the cocktail and enjoy the other half
