I’m a nerd for acidic coffee – Indonesia, Uganda, El Salvador… So many times I find a great umami hint of tomato in them, let’s dig deeper!
Cocktail Inspiration
The unexpectedly pleasant flavour of tomato of certain acidic coffees
Ingredients
- 18 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 30 Ml. Cold Brew
- 20 Ml. La Tomato
- 8 Ml. Mezcal
- 1 Drops Basil Leaf (piece)
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Build all liquid ingredients in a stirring glass
- Add basil leaf and gently extract with a muddler
- Stir to dilution, serve up
- Garnish with a lemon disc
Coffee Preparation
- Cold Brew, coarse grind, 1 g coffee per 8 g water, 12 hours
