I’m a nerd for acidic coffee – Indonesia, Uganda, El Salvador… So many times I find a great umami hint of tomato in them, let’s dig deeper!

Cocktail Inspiration

The unexpectedly pleasant flavour of tomato of certain acidic coffees

Ingredients

  • 18 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Cold Brew
  • 20 Ml. La Tomato
  • 8 Ml. Mezcal
  • 1 Drops Basil Leaf (piece)

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Build all liquid ingredients in a stirring glass
  • Add basil leaf and gently extract with a muddler
  • Stir to dilution, serve up
  • Garnish with a lemon disc
Coffee Preparation
  • Cold Brew, coarse grind, 1 g coffee per 8 g water, 12 hours
