The idea behind this drink is to highlight the Guatemalan Afro-descendant atlantic coast, with a local licor: gifiti, which compliments licor 43, banana, coffee, milk and chocolate.

Cocktail Inspiration

A trip to the Guatemalan Atlantic Coast


  • 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Gifiti
  • 60 Ml. Milk
  • 4 Oz. Brewed Coffee (1:6 ratio)
  • 4 Oz. One Banana
  • 4 Dashes Ground Cocoa Garnish


Cocktail Preparation
  • Brew Coffee one a 1:6 ratio. 6ml per 1gr of coffee. Brew for 3-4min.
  • Measure your other ingredients and peel the banana.
  • Pour all ingredients (except the cocoa) and ice on shaker.
  • Shake until the banana comes apart.
  • Double Strain over a chilled 12oz highball glass with an appropiate piece of ice
  • Garnish with cocoa and serve
Coffee Preparation
  • Grind 15gr of coffee
  • Heat water to 92deg C.
  • On an immersion brewer, let coffee brew for 3 to 4 min depending on roast level
  • Separate coffee grounds from extracted coffee water.
