Through this cocktail, I hope to introduce a classic brazilian cocktail through a modern lens, and show the
Ingredients
- 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 15 Ml. Aged Cachaça
- 30 Ml. Cold Brew
- 45 Ml. Cashew Nut Milk
- 15 Ml. Cashew Apple Juice
- 25 Ml. Carbonated Water
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Shake all ingredients (except the carbonated water) with ice.
- Strain into a large Collins glass (around 400ml) with ice.
- Add the carbonated water.
- Express an orange peel over the top of the cocktail and glass rim.
- Garnish with a funky straw or mixing stick or spoon.
Coffee Preparation
- Grind the coffee beans coarsely.
- Weight the amount of coffee you're using, and measure up 4 times as much filtered water.
- Add the coffee and the water to a large recipient. Make sure all the coffee is in contact with water.
- Cover and refrigerate for 18h to 24h hours, tasting at intervals.
- Strain through a coffee filter and keep refrigerated for up to three days.
