Spain To San Juan

I get much of my inspiration from traveling. Here I used Puerto Rican rum, coffee, and two ingredients—coconut and banana—that are common in Puerto Rico. The Licor 43 is the perfect missing piece to round out this tiki-inspired cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Puerto Rican arabica medium roast
  • 45 Ml. Havana Club Añejo Clasico rum
  • 15 Ml. Giffard Banane du Bresil liqueur
  • 15 Ml. Thai Kitchen unsweetened coconut cream

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add all ingredients to a shaker
  • Whip shake
  • Strain through fine mesh into a glass coffee mug over a large ice cube
  • Clip fragrant mint sprig to glass as garnish
