Cocktail Inspiration
This cocktail is inspired by the ancient spice trade routes connecting East and West
Ingredients
- 20 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 45 Ml. Saffron Infused Mezcal
- 10 Ml. Hot Honey Syrup (Monin)
- 4 Drops Cherry Bitters (Fee Brothers)
- 15 Ml. Cold Expresso (Monte Alban)
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Saffron Infused Mezcal - I Used a bottle of mezcal and 50 Gm of saffron and kept for infusing for 72 hours.
- Saffron Foam - I used 200 Ml Heavy creme and 20 gm of saffron cook them then add on the mixer into a siphon gun with 2 egg whites charge with Co2 and its ready to use.
- Pour all the ingredients into a mixing glass expect saffron foam stir the mixer for 20 second.
- Pour the drink into a chilled copue glass.
- Pour the Saffron foam on top with the help of siphon gun.
- A pinch of saffron for garnish.
Coffee Preparation
- I used a cold shot of expresso and i used monte Alban coffee because they provide bold, smoky flavor with earthy undernotes, subtle dark chocolate hints, mild spices, and a full bodied texture.
