Cocktail Inspiration
The subtle orange notes from the Licor 43 were the inspiration behind this cocktail. It helps keep it timeless and unique.
Ingredients
- 44 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 30 Ml. Espresso
- 22 Ml. Fresh Squeezed Orange juice
- 22 Ml. Campari
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Extract espresso from coffee beans and reserve for cocktail
- In a tin set, prepare one side with shaking ice and other for ingredients
- Combine all the ingredients into the tin and then seal shut with ice
- Shake hard. Between 10-15 seconds or until tin is frosted.
- Double strain into glassware and top off with fresh ice.
- Garnish cocktail with an orange sting peel
Coffee Preparation
- Weight out coffee beans to the porter filter size of the espresso machine.
- Grind weighted coffee beans and prepare into the porter filter.
- Extract the espresso between 30-50 ml striving to extract near a 2:2.25 ratio
- Reserve espresso and discard ground coffee
