I’m 24 years old. It is a pleasure to be able to participate. The name “The Jewel” comes from a coffee palpation that my grandfather had.

Cocktail Inspiration

This cocktail is inspired by remembering our Guatemalan roots, how our grandparents prepared coffee in clay pots and the cultivation of 100% Guatemalan coffee.

Ingredients

• 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
• 45 Ml. Coffee (with orange peel)
• 15 Ml. Vanilla syrup
• 15 Ml. Lemon Juice

Method

Cocktail Preparation

• Add all the ingredients to the shaker
• Add ice
• Shake for 10 seconds
• Strain into a chilled martini glass

Coffee Preparation

• Grind 14 grams of coffee
• In a clay pot add orange peel and coffee
• Serve 100 grams of water
• Stir for 30 seconds
• Strain the coffee
