Cocktail Inspiration
My late Dad and his early morning Cigar with Coffee
Ingredients
- 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 30 Ml. John Barr Blended Scotch
- 15 Ml. Espresso (Basecamp beans from Summit Coffee)
- 7 Ml. Maple Syrup
- 7 Ml. Pooter Smoke and Salt Bitters
- 3 Dashes Scrappy's Black Lemon Bitters
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Add all ingredients into Boston Shaker
- Shake with Ice for approx. 15-18 Seconds or until aerated
- Double Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass
- Peel Orange, Express peel over cocktail
- Garnish with nicely cut Orange Peel
Coffee Preparation
- Grind coffee beans on a fine setting to utilize the espresso extraction method.
- Input 18g of finely ground coffee beans into a portafilter and place in the espresso machine
- Extract an output of 37.5g of espresso in approx. 30 seconds at 200 degrees
