As an artist, bartending helps me stay creative in my everyday life. Mixing ingredients to create something people enjoy. Or recreating the classic masterpieces everyone knows and loves.

Cocktail Inspiration

I wanted to create a cold cocktail with a coffee base as an alternative to the espresso martini

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 60 Ml. Coffee (Cold Brew Arabica)
  • 30 Ml. Mezcal
  • 20 Ml. Agave Syrup
  • 6 Dashes Chocolate Bitters
  • 120 Ml. Irish Stout (Guinness)

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add 6 dashes chocolate bitters to shaker
  • Add 20ml agave syrup to shaker
  • Add 60ml coffee to shaker
  • Add 30ml Licor 43 to shaker
  • Add 30ml Mezcal to shaker
  • Add ice to shaker and wet shake
  • Double strain into a rocks glass
  • Top off with 120ml of your favorite Irish Stout (Guinness)
  • Garnish with a lemon peel
  • Enjoy
Coffee Preparation
  • Grind your arabica coffee beans
  • Measure 60ml coffee grounds and 235ml room temperature water
  • Combine coffee grounds and water in a container
  • Stir to combine coffee grounds and water
  • Cover container with coffee mixture
  • Let mixture sit for 12-24 hours
  • Filter coffee grounds out with coffee filter
  • Coffee is now ready to serve or use in cocktails
