The Peychaud Bach

This cocktail is inspired by the great Antoine Peychaud, the pharmacist who started using bitters in alcoholic beverages in New Orleans and by the English doctor Edward Bach who developed aromatherapy

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 60 Ml. Jack Daniels Whiskey N7
  • 90 Ml. Coldbrew San camilo
  • 30 Ml. Valkyria Mead
  • 3 Drops cocoa and vanilla essence
  • 6 Drops Orange bitter nativo
  • 6 Drops Chocolate bitter nativo

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Chill or refrigerate the martini glass
  • Pour the whiskey, liqueur 43, mead and coldbrew into the mix and glass to chill for 8 seconds
  • Pour the liquid into the martini glass and add two dashes of orange bitters, two dashes of chocolate bitters and finally a dash of vanilla cocoa essence.
  • Put the garnish, made up of 58 percent chocolate, grated Brazil nuts, grated orange peel and the flower of honey
Coffee Preparation
  • The coffee is put into a pressurized barrel by immersion method for 48 hours, and of those 48 hours it has 28 hours of fermentation. Coffee is always in contact with water to extract more caffeine and flavor
