I have been bartending for just over a year now and have been falling in love with the simplicity of creating complex flavors using minimalist methods. My ideal cocktail is simple and tasty!
Cocktail Inspiration
Elevating the traditional carajillo using Chilean Pisco to transport drinkers to a warm climate rich with natural beauty
Ingredients
- 45 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 45 Ml. Espresso
- 22 Ml. Control C Chilean Pisco
- 1 Drops Pinch of salt
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Chill your favorite port wine glass with ice.
- Add Espresso, Licor 43, Pisco, and the saline to a shaker tin.
- Add a large scoop of ice to shaker tin.
- Shake vigorusly for 10-15 Seconds.
- Discard the ice in the port wine glass.
- Double strain cocktail into the chilled port wine glass.
- Garnish with a orange zest making sure to express the oranges oils.
Coffee Preparation
- Beans used: Dark Roast Sumatra from True Coffee Co
- Using a home espresso machine (Phillips branded) on the largest setting brew a shot of espresso.
