An ode to my mentor, Juan Montes. This Puertorican twist to the Espresso Martini with a presentation reminiscent of a Ramos Gin Fizz. This refreshing coffee cocktail is Balanced, Hearty & Delicious!

Cocktail Inspiration

This cocktail is inspired by the classic Espresso Martini with a Puertorican twist showcasing the beautiful flavors found in Licor 43 with a modern touch and flair

Ingredients

  • 15 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 45 Ml. Ron Artesano Añejo
  • 30 Ml. Cold Brew Coffee
  • 8 Ml. Maple Syrup
  • 10 Drops Orange Cream Citrate

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • In a chilled shaker, add all ingredients, except tonic, Shake Vigorously, making sure to incorporate air.
  • Strain into small shaker, again, make sure to incorporate air.
  • Dry shake Vigorously
  • Add the Cacao tonic straight into shaker with cocktail inside.
  • Pour into a chilled Collins Glass with two medium cubes and a straw inside.
  • Place the cocktail in the fridge or freezer for 2 to 4 minutes.
  • Pour rest of the cocktail slowly, through the middle of the foam head, Let it rise slowly.
  • Top with leftover coffee foam and Spray Orange Essence.
  • Garnish with 3 Coffee Beans
Coffee Preparation
  • Cold Brew (Immersion) using 100 percent Puertorican Coffee.
