I created this recipe originally using a coconut fat wash tequila. It added the milkiness I was looking for without using dairy. I’m lactose intolerant so this is as close as it gets for me.
Cocktail Inspiration
Espresso martini
Ingredients
- 22 Ml. Licor 43 Original
- 44 Ml. La Gritona Reposado tequila.
- 7 Ml. Piloncillo syrup
- 44 Ml. Cold brew concentrate, or shot of espresso
- 3 Ml. 3 dashes of Aztec chocolate bitters
Method
Cocktail Preparation
- Add all ingredients into a Boston shaker
- Fill with ice and shake until chilled.
- Fine strain onto a martini glass or a coupe.
- Garnish with chocolate ability sprinkles.
Coffee Preparation
- 6 oz of freshly ground coffee beans and 3 cups of distilled water.
- Stir together in a mason jar and cover,
- Let it sit at room temperature over night
- Strain coffee with a coffee, do not stir, let it drip slowly (usually takes about an hour)
- Label and store for up to a week.
