I created this recipe originally using a coconut fat wash tequila. It added the milkiness I was looking for without using dairy. I’m lactose intolerant so this is as close as it gets for me.

Cocktail Inspiration

Espresso martini


  • 22 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 44 Ml. La Gritona Reposado tequila.
  • 7 Ml. Piloncillo syrup
  • 44 Ml. Cold brew concentrate, or shot of espresso
  • 3 Ml. 3 dashes of Aztec chocolate bitters


Cocktail Preparation
  • Add all ingredients into a Boston shaker
  • Fill with ice and shake until chilled.
  • Fine strain onto a martini glass or a coupe.
  • Garnish with chocolate ability sprinkles.
Coffee Preparation
  • 6 oz of freshly ground coffee beans and 3 cups of distilled water.
  • Stir together in a mason jar and cover,
  • Let it sit at room temperature over night
  • Strain coffee with a coffee, do not stir, let it drip slowly (usually takes about an hour)
  • Label and store for up to a week.
