Cocktail Inspiration

This reminded of a cocktail that made for my first bartending gig This drink made me so proud of my bartending and barista skills

Ingredients

  • 44 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 44 Ml. Plantation dark rum
  • 59 Ml. Flash brewed coffee
  • 15 Ml. Lime
  • 30 Ml. Blueberry Compote
  • 89 Ml. Modelo
  • 1 Dashes Cinnamon

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • In a mixing glass - muddle licor 43, rum, and blueberry for 1 minute
  • Double strain contents of the mixing glass into a shaker (put the contents from the strainer back into the mixing glass)
  • Add coffee and lime to shaker
  • Shake with ice
  • Double strain into a cocks glass ove a large ice cube
  • Pour beer into mixing glass with the blueberry compote and mix with hand frothed
  • Double strain the frothy beer over the cocktail
  • Enjoy
Coffee Preparation
  • Get aeropress and one aeropress filter
  • Use 18g of a light-medium roasted coffee
  • Add 156g of 206 degree Fahrenheit water to the aeropress (I did this with the aeropress inverted)
  • Let aeropress brew for four minutes
  • Fill a carafe with 132g of ice
  • After aeropress is done brewing press it over the carafe filled with ice
  • Your flash brew is done
