I like to put challengues in my life and more in cocktails, so this cocktail and other created with Mil Alas, are epic. The curious data, is that I dont like cocoa or chocolate, thats the challengue.

Cocktail Inspiration

Zotz means bat in Mayan and a classic of classics using Licor 43 is Carajillo. The Mayans used cocoa as their main economy but more importantly, they came to consider it a sacred or royal drink. The Zotz is the second largest pollinator on the coast, which helps the crops of this holy fruit to proliferate. El Zotzillo seeks to make a Sacred Carajillo, a drink worthy of the highest palates worldwide,

Ingredients

  • 30 Ml. Licor 43 Original
  • 30 Ml. Inmersion Cold Brew Cinnamos and Pecans
  • 30 Ml. Mil Alas Nocturne

Method

Cocktail Preparation
  • Add 30ml of Licor 43 Original to shaker
  • Add 30ml of Cold Brew to shaker
  • Add 30ml of Mil Alas Nocturne
  • Add Ice to shaker
  • Hard Shake
  • Put ice in Old Fashioned Glass
  • Pour Zotzillo in the Glass
  • Garnish with cacao nibs on the foam
Coffee Preparation
  • Choose Coffee: SHB. Height: 1800 mbsl. Variety: Typica. Region: Loz Jazmines, San Vicente Pacaya
  • Put Coffee in ratio 3:1 into Hario Mizudashi Jar
  • Put 1 liter of water to fill the jar
  • Rest in refrigerator by 72 hours
  • Stir
